Mike graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Alfred University in 1990 and worked as an Application Engineer with Holter Associates for many years before forming Empire Tech Solutions in 2004 with Andy Hansen. Customer driven with a technical background to provide on-site analysis of processes, Mike excels at the mechanical knowledge of understanding processes and facilities, and the best methods for resolving contamination issues in manufacturing from both the facility and process perspective. A life-time Upstate New Yorker, Mike enjoys many outdoor sports and activities plus tinkering in his workshop and woodshop.

Andy graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1991 and also worked many years at Holter Associates before joining forces with Mike to create Empire Tech Solutions. A very hands-on and knowledgeable field sales engineer, Andy thrives at digging into the details and working with customers to come up with solutions.

He studied at the Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University where he received a Bachelors of Science and the Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Industrial & Systems Engineering.

Kim Jones
Office ManagerKim has been part of the Empire Tech Solutions team since 2012 now handling the administrative portion of servicing our customers. Her responsibilities include interfacing with both customers and vendors with order placement and confirmations, deliveries, invoicing and accounts receivable. Always cheerful and helpful, she’s the go-to person when you have questions and can direct you to the right person for additional assistance.
